When adding an infrared device, we first request permission to read the list of installed apps / drivers to determine whether your device supports sending infrared signals.
Once a device has been successfully added, we request infrared transmission permission so you can use your phone to send infrared signals to control the device.
By reading your current system language setting, we provide internationalized language support such as Chinese and English.
To help troubleshoot potential compatibility issues, we may collect information such as your Android version, device manufacturer, device model, the package name of the relevant remote control app, and IP address.
To enable infrared remote-control functionality and improve the user experience, when you use the infrared transmission feature, the App accesses your device's accelerometer to determine the phone's orientation and rotate the interface accordingly, helping you point the phone's IR transmitter more accurately at the target device (such as an air conditioner or TV) and improving the success rate of infrared commands. This sensor data is used only for the purpose described above; it is not used to identify you personally and will not be used for any purpose unrelated to this feature. We will not use this information for any other purpose without your explicit consent.
During the course of providing services, we may need to use system broadcasts to implement certain product features or services.
System broadcasts used by the App: com.taobao.accs.EventReceiver, Android.intent.action.USER_PRESENT
Features and services implemented through broadcasts:
To improve your experience, we obtain your approximate location so we can filter set-top-box regions and brands suitable for your area when offering remote controls. Please rest assured that we strictly commit to not storing, transmitting, or forwarding your location information, and we do not collect precise location data. Your privacy and security are always among our top priorities.
We request storage permission in order to store remote-control data and your local settings. We do not store your sensitive personal information. The data we collect is used solely for service improvement and performance monitoring, and we will not transmit or sell your personal information to any third party outside the platform. We will share your personal information only in the following circumstances:
